Purpose
The original purpose of the working and research group on ‘Leadership and Quality of Education’ is to study and make proposals related to pedagogical or educational leadership, to the quality of education and to the relationship between these two topics.
Objectives
Although different objectives referred to the original mentioned purpose could be considered by the working and research group, some starting objectives to be persecuted are initially expressed like this:
Ø Information gathering on the ‘importance’ that the sectors implicated on education in educational institutions (of different types) give to the components and aspects that determine the quality of these educational institutions.
Ø Information gathering on the ‘evidence’ degree of achievement, existence, reality, attainment or effectiveness of such components and aspects that cause the quality of these educational institutions.
Ø Information gathering on the ‘importance’ that the sectors implicated on education in educational institutions give to the dimensions and descriptors of pedagogical or educational leadership in such educational institutions.
Ø Information gathering on the ‘evidence’ degree of achievement, existence, reality, attainment or effectiveness of the dimensions and descriptors of pedagogical or educational leadership in such institutions.
Ø Determination of the correlation between the importance and evidence of the quality of education in educational institutions and the importance and evidence of pedagogical or educational leadership in such institutions.
